Dog Haus Becomes First Outside Vendor at Los Angeles’ Iconic Rose Bowl Stadium
Dog Haus Signs Multi-Year Deal with Rose Bowl to Dish Out Dogs to Stadium Goers
Dog Haus and the Rose Bowl Stadium announced today a multi-year partnership, making them the first restaurant to have a permanent location at the venue. Having kicked off Sunday, Sept. 3 with the start of the UCLA football season, the Pasadena-based brand will have a permanent outpost at America’s Stadium serving exclusive items unavailable at the 26 Dog Haus stores currently open.
“The Rose Bowl Stadium is thrilled to partner with such a well-known and respected Pasadena store. We think this relationship will truly strengthen our food and beverage offerings at America’s Stadium and will bring another variety for our patrons at games and concerts. Welcome to the family, Dog Haus, we’re happy to have you here,” said Darryl Dunn, Rose Bowl stadium general manager.
Dog Haus, known for its gourmet hot dogs and sausages, will showcase their high quality products to the more than one million fans and followers that attend football games, flea markets, concerts and more at The Rose Bowl every year. The menu items will include one-of-a-kind creations such as the Oktoberwürst which features a one-third pound Cajun-spiced, Emmentaler cheese-stuffed Bierwürst finished off with mustard aioli and chopped green onions; or the Long Snap made with Dog Haus’ signature snap dog topped with haus chili, cheddar cheese sauce and green onions, both of which are served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. Alternatively, visitors can keep it simple with the Simply Frank that includes a Dog Haus signature snap dog also served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. The menu is rounded out with the option of plain tots or the dressed up Nice Tots, featuring cheddar cheese sauce and chopped bacon, finished with green onions. To wash it down, the Dog Haus stall will have a rotating selection of craft beer available for all concerts.
“As a fourth generation Pasadenan, I grew up around The Rose Bowl and quickly learned how iconic it is, not just in this area but throughout the country. We opened our first store in Pasadena, so Dog Haus’ roots will always be here. It’s a natural fit to team with The Rose Bowl and share this hometown brand with all their visitors,” said André Vener, Dog Haus partner. “We can’t wait for this Sunday when we can heat up the grill and start cooking!”
The Rose Bowl was built in 1922 and has since earned National Historic Landmark status as well as a place in the hearts of Angelenos who have attended myriad iconic events throughout the years, including the annual Tournament of Roses Rose Bowl game, the world’s largest flea market and countless top musical performances from A-list artists. With a recently completed multi-million dollar renovation project to maintain its historic status and improve the experience for visitors, The Rose Bowl is now looking to improve the dining experience with Dog Haus leading the way.
