It may seem like forever that work has been going on along Foothill Boulevard, but the end is in sight according to city manager, Oliver Chi.  In his weekly City Manager’s Update, Chi reports that the work will be complete in the next two weeks.

This last week, with the “post it note” line markers, the confusion has been rampant.  People are being creative in their decisions at intersections.  Next week that first coat of paint will go down striping the entire length of the street.  During the week of July 17 after the first coat has “cured,” the second coat will be applied.

Chi’s report thanked the community for its cooperation writing “And please know how thankful we are that the entire community has been so patient with us here at the City as we have completed these important infrastructure repairs!”

For the impatient, or those uncomfortable with those more creative lane decision, there are alternate routes including Huntington Drive, Colorado Boulevard and Chestnut Avenue.
