Dear Editor,

Beacon Media News – Monrovia Weekly is all the community news without the spin.

Special thanks goes out to reporter Susan Motander for a fine piece of journalism, reporting on the recent city council meeting concerning community media of the foothills. The story was reported the very same way as it played out on the local station and told to the city council.

The message is out; the Community of the Foothills (CMF) is in need of some internal house cleaning that appears long overdue. Where is the CMF board in all of this? When was the last board meeting? Who are the board members and what do they do?

The big question is does the community care, or will apathy prevail?

Ralph Walker
