One of the largest music festivals in the San Gabriel Valley returns to Monrovia on Sunday, June 4.

The fourth annual Monrovia Music Fest will take place at the Library Park Memorial Fountain on 321 S. Myrtle Ave. in Old Town Monrovia on Sunday, June 4, from 12-7 p.m. The event will feature a diverse mixture of musical genres throughout the day, including rock, pop, soul, and renowned musical whistling. Various upcoming and award-winning indie SoCal bands and artists will perform at the festival: SolSpeak, Fake Furs, The Whistling Diva, Malynda Hale, Mad Revival, and Kristii Strike from Austria with her dance crew, promoting her single with Chris Brown. Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Georgia Reign will be the headliner of the event.

In addition to music, festival-goers will enjoy hoppy brews from a craft beer garden brought by 38 Degrees Ale House, Mt. Lowe Brewing Company, and Congregation Ale House. Other features of the Monrovia Music Fest include a wide selection of food trucks, vendors, artisans, fun activities for the whole family, and the area’s largest pet event, Bark Park, where leashed, friendly dogs are welcome. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Homeboy Industries, a non-profit organization based in downtown Los Angeles that trains and supports former gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women to help them realize their dreams of success.
