At a special meeting of the Monrovia City Council, the group recognized the twenty-five newest graduates of the Monrovia Area Partnership Youth Leadership Academy.  In seven and a half months, these young people have attended thirteen classes held throughout the city.

Ariel Tolefree-Williams, the city’s Neighborhood Services Program Coordinator, introduced the members of the class.  The graduates had a formal group photograph taken, and the members of the City Council then congratulated the young people on their achievement.

The new graduates are Leilani Callum, Sophia Childers, Robert DeBetta, Joel Ellis, Zoe Favela, Christian Figueroa, Alexandra Fraire, Teylor Graves, Ani Hambarzumian, Daniel Hernandez, Edward Hernandez, Terry Hui, Avery Linder, Dylan Moore, Chloe Morrison, Alexis Ruiz, Noah Sacdalan, Lailah Spicer, Cameron Storey, Drew Storey, Tangia Sun, Carmen Sycip, Ashley Taylor, Andrew Uriarte, and Ryan Wiles.
