Finally, after years of subtle suggestion, plus a little gentle persuasion from community leader Robin Salzer (of Robin’s Ribs fame) there will be a big community job fair at the Rose Bowl on April 11 & 12. Sodexo-Magic and its GM Kevin Hengehold should be credited for this community outreach “…because it is long overdue and they believe in it.” Salzer says.

The company champions diversity so it’s no surprise that SodexoMAGIC is a partnership between Magic Johnson Enterprises & Sodexo, industry leader in food services & facilities management.

The jobs available should be offered to our residents in Pasadena-Altadena first and then and only then offered to folks outside of our area.

There will be opportunities for seasonal and part time positions. Stock worker and Receiver- set up- break down. Opportunities for food service workers as well as bartenders.

This is a great opportunity to get your resume out to people who hire directly in this business.

The times are between 12-6 and will be located in Lot F check in with security at the Honda Gate A.

The basic premise of the Sodexo Magic is simple in concept but needs community participation like the assistance of people like Robin Salzer to help lead the way. “Supporting the communities in which we live, work and play is paramount to SodexoMAGIC’s success and is deeply ingrained throughout our company. Working together, we continue to make strides in addressing issues and supporting both local and national initiatives. That commitment to reinvesting and stimulating economic growth and stability is the foundation that supports us. “

“I believe that a successful turnout and the placement of local jobs for local residents will ensure that this local hiring program will become an annual event and opportunity,” Salzer added.
