12th Annual Pasadena ARTWalk: Call to Artists

The 12th Annual Pasadena ARTWalk is accepting artists’ submissions

The Playhouse District Association is inviting artists to submit artwork for the 12th Annual Pasadena ARTWalk. The Pasadena ARTWalk will take place on Saturday, October 14th from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. in the Playhouse District in Pasadena.

All artists are welcome to apply to exhibit in the Pasadena ARTWalk. Artists submitting work must fall in one of the following categories: Ceramics, Drawing, Digital Media, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Watercolor.

Applications can be submitted electronically on the Playhouse website atwww.playhousedistrict.org/artwalk. Artists work will be juried. The Playhouse District is offering a “Best in Show” prize of $500 for a single artwork submitted by the artist as part of their application. Instructions for the “Best in Show” prize can be found in the submission instructions.

Submission deadlines are as follows:

Early bird submission: June 26.

Deadline for submission: July 28.

Notification date: August 18.

The Pasadena ARTWalk is San Gabriel Valley’s largest urban art fair. This year’s Pasadena ARTWalk will feature over 70 participating visual artists in a festival atmosphere, free museum admission, hands-on activities, entertainment, a self-guided walking tour and a lot more. Yearly, the event draws over 5,000 attendees. The Pasadena ARTWalk is produced by the Playhouse District Association.
