Trick or Treat at the Library (Oct. 26 @ 4 p.m. or 6:30 p.m., Arcadia Public Library 20 W. Duarte Road) Come in costume for some Halloween fun! There will be stories, activities, a video, and a snack. Plus, the chance to trick or treat through the Library. This is a drop-in program. No registration required, but space is limited.

Colorado Blvd.) Pasadena City College Visual, Media and Performing Arts Theatre Division presents “The Adding Machine” by Elmer Rice. The Adding Machine is an expressionist, non-realism play. Faced with being replaced by a machine after 25 years of work, Mr. Zero kills his boss and is executed. His remaining days alive, and then in the afterlife, are a pursuit to understand just what is one’s purpose in life.
