Join us for a tribute to a very special friend and supporter of the LA County Arboretum on Sunday, Oct. 23.

Thanks to Peggy Dark, founder of The Kitchen for Exploring Foods in Pasadena, the Arboretum’s FRESH cooking classes are among the best in culinary education.

In recognition of her leadership and contributions to the LA Arboretum Foundation and other community non-profits, we salute the iconic caterer at a gala dinner celebration at the Arboretum’s Celebration Garden (301 N. Baldwin Ave., Arcadia).

There will be cocktails at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:15 p.m.

“For years we’ve enjoyed Peggy’s stellar cuisine and wonderful generosity. I’m delighted that we have this opportunity to honor a truly remarkable woman,” said Richard Schulhof, CEO of the Arboretum.

Proceeds from A Night to Honor Peggy Dark will go to the Arboretum’s ongoing support of the Children’s Learning Patio and education programs. Tickets are $250 per person. The Kitchen for Exploring Foods is graciously donating the dinner.
