HOME CARE ASSISTANCE TO CELEBRATE PASADENA OFFICE OPENING
Leading provider of in-home care to host discussions on innovative cognitive therapies to support brain health with experts from Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles and the Pasadena Village
On Tuesday, September 27, Home Care Assistance will celebrate the opening of its new Pasadena office by showcasing artwork and photography created by members of the Pasadena Village. There will also be educational talks on brain health for the community with representatives from the local Home Care Assistance team, Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles and the Pasadena Village.
Home Care Assistance has introduced a wide variety of new technologies and innovative programs that promote brain health and cognitive stimulation, including the company’s Cognitive Therapeutics Method™, which includes an iPad application with over 300 different activities that target a wide array of cognitive domains including memory, executive functioning, attention, language, and visual spatial perception.
Between 2010 and 2030, the older adult population in the Los Angeles region is expected to almost double, from about 1.1 million to more than 2.1 million. And according to AARP, almost 90 percent of adults 65 and older want to stay in their current home and community as they age. Home Care Assistance has expanded throughout the LA and Southern California to ensure that those who want to age “in-home” are able to do so.
