The Monrovia Public Library was recently awarded a grant to establish a Veteran’s Resource Center. During the past few weeks, the city has made great progress in getting the new center resource established and is now asking for the public’s help!
If you have any interest in volunteering to help connect Veterans with available services, the library encourages you to contact them!
Those interested should get in touch with Mabel Cross, who can be reached via email at mcross@ci.monrovia.ca.us or by phone at (626) 256-8294.
The Library will provide training for all interested volunteers – there are a variety of volunteer positions available, including Veterans benefits coach, oral history interviewer, and community outreach specialist.
If you have any interest in volunteering to make a difference in the life of a Veteran, please contact us at the Library today!
