The San Gabriel Valley Mosquito & Vector Control District will be hosting a community workshop on Sept. 24, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., regarding strategies to keep Zika out!
The event will take place at the Dharma Seal Temple (3027 Del Mar Ave., Rosemead).
The workshop will train residents and volunteers to prevent Zika virus by combating invasive Aedes mosquitoes in LA County.
After the morning workshop, volunteers will have the opportunity to hit the streets and educate neighbors in the surrounding area.
