50th Anniversary of Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy
‘Tai Ji Culture, A Precious Treasure: Bringing Hope to the World’
Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy celebrates its 50th anniversary at Arcadia Performing Arts Center on Sept. 16.
Over 350 Tai Ji Men volunteers from all walks of life are travelling from around the world to present two fabulous cultural feasts in California, as part of their world tour. They will present a rich cultural feast to the senses; an experience described as the embodiment of the principle that love and peace is essential to the world’s future.
Under the theme of “Tai Ji Culture, A Precious Treasure: Bringing Hope to the World,” Tai Ji Men members will display their masterful performances refined over the past 50 years and demonstrate the kungfu of the unity of the heart and qi (energy).
The program infuses youthful vitality and creativity into martial arts, music, dance, and drama to share the origin of martial arts built upon the ancient master-disciple relationship and the philosophy of yin and yang adapted to modern life.
An international nonprofit organization of culture, martial arts, and qigong, Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy does not conduct fundraisers; its members have volunteered their time and money to present over 2,000 awe-inspiring cultural performances in 66 nations and earned recognition of “International Ambassadors of Peace and Goodwill,” including a performance in the Sydney Opera House at the invitation of the Sydney Olympics.
You are invited to this rare glimpse into ancient Tai Ji culture that was once only accessible to the royals of the Chinese imperial court. For more information, please contact us.
