THE LOOP: Handcrafted Churros
Westminster, CA
Once in a blue moon do we stumble upon a time and a place for a churro and most of the time it revolves around questionable fair rides and other fried foods. THE LOOP is changing the game of the churro by making them a presentation of epic proportions. You can have it dipped, glazed or what we prefer — chilled.

Afters Ice Cream
Costa Mesa, CA
This ice cream powerhouse is taking SoCal by storm. Home of the Milky Bun, which is your choice of ice cream filling and toppings sandwiched between two halves of a doughnut. As if both weren’t heavenly enough on their own. Their menu consists of flavors like Cookie Butter, Mint Monster and Banana Walnut Fudge.

The Pie Hole: Gourmet Pies & Coffee Shop
Pasadena, CA
No offense to Marie Calendar’s, but there is a new pie shop in town. The menu is mouth-watering for those who enjoy sweet and/or savory; this pie shop has it all. From a Cereal Killer Cheesecake Pie to a Mac ‘n’ Cheese Pie, you can have an entire meal at this one-stop alone.

Wanderlust Creamery
Los Angeles, CA
This creamery is inspired by travel. They offer some signature flavors like Honey Lavender and Earl Grey but also offer seasonal flavors; currently through August 30th, you could enjoy Violet Marshmallow and Mascarpone + Blueberry Elderflower Jam. Not only do the flavors sound pretty, the presentation is completly Instgram-worthy.

Sidecar Doughnut
Santa Monica, CA
Sidecar doughnuts are now a staple in the West side. They use the best ingredients with no preservatives and their doughnuts are made from scratch, right in front of your eyes. You’re guaranteed to walk out with a warm doughnut in your hand which is huge. They too have daily flavors, gluten free options and monthly flavors like Salty Caramel which is available through August. It’s definitely worth paying a visit.
