Arcadia Senior Services, in partnership with Patient, Outreach, Education, Today (POET), is having a special blood pressure screening for those individuals with movement impairments at the Arcadia Community Center (365 Campus Drive, Arcadia) on Friday, Aug. 19, at 1:30 p.m.

The blood pressure screening will have a clinical staff trained to work with individuals with neurological disorders and will be approximately 15-minutes screenings. Blood pressure will be taken standing up and lying down (supine/standing) to see if there are any changes in their blood pressure readings.

There will also be information on tips on managing blood pressure, potential research opportunities for movement impairment disorders, and community resources.

If interested in attending this lecture please call Arcadia Senior Services at (626) 574-5130 to reserve your space. This program is for individuals aged fifty and older.
