Monrovia’s Musical Summer Begins

Free Concerts at Library Park and Station Square

There’s music in the air this summer, as the city is pleased to be offering 18 free concert events that have been coordinated as part of three different summer concert series programs!

All concerts will take place at Library Park and at Station Square. The Summer Concert Series in Library Park is offered every Sunday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., July 10 through Aug. 28.

The eight-week series offers a variety of music genres, including: Top 40, Mariachi, Classic Rock, Motown, and more!

Bring a chair and come on out to Library Park every Sunday this summer to enjoy the tunes – you can even try out the new dance floor we’ve developed for those that want to dance!

Summer lineup is as follows:

– July 17: South Pasadena Transit Authority – Sounds of Chicago ‘70s and ‘80s R&B.

– July 24: Mariachi Divas – Mariachi.

– July 31: The Answer – Classic Rock.

– Aug. 7: Timebomb – Rocking Hits of 1975-1985.

– Aug. 14: Stone Soul – Motown.

– Aug. 21: The Smokin’ Cobras – Rockin’ Oldies.

– Aug. 28: Boyz and the Beez – Country Swing.
