 Aquatic Programs Designed for Individuals With Neuromuscular Difficulties

Arcadia Senior Services, in partnership with POET Health Care Foundation, is having a special presentation for individuals with movement disorders on Friday, June 17, at 1:30 p.m.

The primary focus of the lecture is designed for those individuals with neuromuscular difficulties. Guest speaker Leilani Scholtz, PT, MPT, is the senior physical therapist for the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center.

Scholtz has over 20 years of experience in orthopedics and neurology. She will be discussing the benefits of aquatic exercises that target flexibility, coordination, muscular strength, and endurance.

The ultimate goal is to enhance performance in activities of daily living.

This free health presentation will take place at the Arcadia Community Center, 365 Campus Drive.
