“The dunking booth was probably the most popular spot at the Monrovia Day festivities. Here Police Chief Jim Hunt is just about to dunk Fire Chief Brad Dover. Earlier in the day Dover had failed to Dunk Hunt when he took his turn in the booth. It is fortunate that when a fireman takes aim, it is with a wide spray of water and accuracy is not as critical. As members of the police department were heard to chuckle lasted, they must be so much more exact in their aim.”
