Monrovia Parade Returns – May 13 to 15

Monrovia Day(s) promises to be very special this year, because in addition to the activities we have come to enjoy as a community these past few years, the city and the school district have agreed to partner to bring back the Monrovia Days Parade! From May 13 to 15, events that will be taking place include:

– Friday, May 13 – Special activities are planned to take place Old Town Monrovia at the Friday Night Family Street Fair event!

– Saturday, May 14 – Centre Stage, the city, and the school district will be partnering to present the Monrovia Days Community Parade & Festival in Old Town Monrovia! The event will begin at 8 a.m. with an opening welcome and pancake breakfast at Library Park. Then, at 9 a.m., the Monrovia Day Parade will be back and better than ever with a variety of civic and school district themed participants. After the parade, the community celebration will begin at around 10:30 a.m., and the activities will last throughout the day. Complete with live entertainment, performances by Monrovia Unified School District students and Centre Stage participants, carnival games, laser tag, a dunk tank, food, and a good old fashioned pie eating contest … the Monrovia Day celebration is a day you certainly will not want to miss!

– Sunday, May 15 – the Monrovia Days Music Festival will continue in Library Park.

Stay tuned for additional Monrovia Day information and make sure to mark your calendars for May 13 to 15, to celebrate Monrovia’s 130th Birthday in style!
