The driver of a Ford F-150 white pickup truck was being pursued by authorities Tuesday afternoon, April 19, on the westbound 210 Freeway which started in Monrovia at about 1 p.m.

Scanner traffic indicated that Monrovia Police officers attempted to pull the truck over near Mountain Avenue and the 210.

The two suspects refused to pull over on Mountain Avenue following a suspicious person call allegedly casing a residential area.

The chase that began on the freeway in Monrovia made its way east for about 25 miles before the driver exited the 210 and reversed course.

Pasadena PD airships were called in and then the CHP took over the pursuit.

News video showed CHP vehicles following the white four-door truck as it reached speeds of up to 100 mph in the HOV lanes.

The pursuit ended in Ontario with two suspects, male whites, in custody courtesy of CHP.  No one was injured during the chase.
