Cucamonga Christian Fellowship in Rancho Cucamonga will be hosting the Royal Family Kids’ Camp from June 27 to July 1 to provide up to 30 foster children with a summer camp experience they likely would never otherwise be able to have. Kids ages 6 to 12 will be able to engage in swimming, rock climbing, paintball, field sports, woodworking, animal encounters, arts and crafts, painting, dress-up, tea parties, and archery – all under the camp’s carefully selected staff of highly trained counselors.
I am issuing a challenge to help me raise the $30,000 needed to send 30 foster kids to this year’s Royal Family Kids Camp.
I am asking you to help us to bring a smile to the faces of these children, who have experienced a life of abuse and neglect. This is the only camp Royal Family Kids will present for foster children in San Bernardino County this year.
Does your organization have creative ways to donate to 30 kids? Help us impact them for good.
There are other ways to help. We need 30 new sleeping bags and birthday gifts for all the children; you can be as creative as you have the resources. All of the proceeds go to pay for the children and volunteers to attend the camp and to purchase food, equipment, and supplies.
Along with San Bernardino County Children and Family Services and Cucamonga Christian Fellowship, Church Job Fairs is also helping to present this week of fun, stability, peace, and memorable moments for children in foster care who normally experience constant upheaval and continual change in their lives.
Please visit http://ranchocucamonga.royalfamilykids.org/donations to donate. I am happy to answer questions you have about Royal Family Kids, (855) 772-4872. Or feel free to contact camp director Jeff Schultz at Cucamonga Christian Fellowship via email at rfkc@ccflive.org or by calling (909) 945-5333.
Thank you very much, and I hope you will match my challenge with a generous donation. I sincerely hope you will join us in this mission.
