On Wednesday, March 16, greater Monrovia art lovers and community boosters can step into a world of masterpieces from some of California’s and the rest of the nation’s finest artists. And while they enjoy and learn more about the art, they can savor hors d’oeuvres by The Kitchen for Exploring Food and sip favorite wines. The reception will run from 5 to 7 p.m.

John Moran Auctioneers is excited to partner with the Monrovia Association of Fine Arts (MAFA) and the Volunteer Center of San Gabriel Valley (VCSGV) for an exclusive private preview of their March 22nd auction featuring California and American Fine Art.

Visitors can join Jeff Moran and his colleagues for a guided tour of selected artwork spanning the last century. Jeff will discuss the influence of French Impressionism on California artists and move his way through to more contemporary representations. Each attendee will receive a complimentary auction catalogue (a $25 value) and will have access to preview the entire sale at this special event.

Tickets are $50 and available at www.moranprivatepreview.eventbrite.com or at the door. Event proceeds will support MAFA’s at-risk teen art workshop program and the Volunteer Center’s Make a Difference Day outreach.
