Poetry In Motion: Master Poetry Workshops – Free!
Learn a new style or technique of writing poetry, get feedback for your poems, and learn how to perform with confidence with a different poet master each week! Workshops began last Thursday, Feb. 25, and will run through April 14 in the Creative Center at the Arcadia Public Library. The workshops start at 4 p.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.
Weekly registration is required at the Arcadia Public Library Jerry Broadwell Children’s Room desk. This program is exclusively for students in grades six through12. Participants may choose to have their poems written during the series published and/or may perform them at the upcoming Poetry in Motion Youth Showcase for prizes held on April 15.

– March 10 – Humorous Poetry with Lynne Bronstein.
– March 17 – Limericks with Jessica Wilson Cardenas.
– March 24 – Cinematic Poetry with Kelly Grace Thomas.
– March 31 – Riding the Bus of Life with Luis Villalobos.
– April 7 – Family Portraits with Don Kingfisher Campbell.
– April 14 – Embrace the Stage with Eric Eztli.
