Color Me Calm: Adult Coloring Club

Color yourself calm with fellow coloring enthusiasts on the first Tuesday of every month. Coloring sheets and colors are provided. If you already have a coloring book and favorite color pencil brand, feel free to bring your own supplies. Expect soothing music, warm drinks, and a full hour of calm coloring. The next Color Me Calm is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, at 7 p.m. at the Arcadia Public Library.

Blue Submarine Is Coming!

Get ready to experience marine life up-close and learn about the amazing life of the sea animals. Children will have the opportunity to touch live tide pool animals such as sea stars, sea urchins, hermit crabs, sea slugs, sea anemones, and keyhole limpets. This special program, sponsored by the Friends of the Arcadia Public Library, will be held on Saturday, March 12, at 2:30 p.m. or 4 p.m. Space is limited and priority will be given to children with one accompanying responsible adult. This is sure to be a fun and educational opportunity you will not want to miss!

Come Out and Cast Your Vote for Your Favorite Book

Children are invited to come out and vote on their favorite California Young Reader Medal Book. Most book awards are selected by adults but this is one book award that is voted on exclusively by children! Come hear the five primary stories and cast your vote for your favorite one. After the stories, there will be a fun craft to make and take home. This free and educational program is for children in kindergarten through third grade. No registration is required but do come a little early on Thursday evening, March 17, at 6:30 p.m.
