Last Friday, Feb. 5, the South Pasadena girls’ varsity basketball squad faced off against the La Canada Spartans in a Rio Hondo League showdown. The Tigers put the pressure on the Spartans, but ultimately fell short as they lost 60-54. The Spartans remain in first place, undefeated in conference play with a record of 8-0, while South Pasadena is in second place with league record of 6-2.
