If you hadn’t heard, last year, file sharing company, WeTransfer, teamed up with the Ace Hotel to unveil an on-going public art series for the folks of DTLA. Fittingly titled Dear DTLA, the project invites artists from around the globe to broadcast their work via the highly visible billboard in front of downtown’s Ace Hotel location.

So far, participants of the project include the likes of graphic designer Brian Roettinger, Italian design house Fabrica, visual artist Stefan Marx, sculptor and poet Robert Montgomery, emoji artist Yung Jake and graphic designer/visual artist/creative mad man, Cali Thornhill Dewitt.

For this month’s installment, the team is happy to announce a collaboration with Portuguese photographer, Ana Brotas. Brotas undertook the opportunity by implementing her own steez, deciding against solely one-dimensional options in order to produce an image that — in addition to looking geometrically fresh — can be printed, and constructed into an oragami boat made up of varying analog shots from her everyday life.

To download Ana’s creation, and test out your oragami skills, you can grab the file and instructions here.
