1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s

Come witness how stars of the silver screen such as Robert Taylor, Barbara Stanwyck, and many more, used to enjoy a day at the Santa Anita Park races. Step back in time, remember the glamour of the silver screen, and see the movie stars as they enjoyed daily life. This winter exhibit of photographs from the 1930s, ‘40s, and ‘50s are part of the permanent collection of the Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage. “Blinkers and Winkers” will be on display Nov. 21, 2015 through Jan. 16, 2016.

For more information, please call (626) 574-5440 or visit the website at www.museum.ci.arcadia.ca.us. The Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage is located at 380 W. Huntington Drive, immediately behind the Community Center. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.). Admission is always free.
