Woman’s Club Holiday Boutique Dec. 5
The Woman’s Club of South Pasadena is busy planning their annual Holiday Boutique and Christmas Store to be held Saturday, Dec. 5th from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Clubhouse, 1424 Fremont Avenue in South Pasadena.
Artisans from foothill communities and San Gabriel Valley craftsmen and -women will participate in the event. A variety of handmade items, including scented candles and soaps, creative quilted décor, designer greeting cards, custom jewelry, infant wear, wood toys, and eco-friendly cosmetics will be available. There will also be holiday-baked goods, gourmet jams and salsa, and a selection of colorful wreaths, succulent planters, and festive pine cone arrangements. A percentage of the proceeds from the Boutique will support Club charities and the Scholarship Fund for high school students. The Woman’s Club, a nonprofit 501(c )(3) organization, has been an active philanthropic and service organization since its founding in 1899.
The Clubhouse, a Cultural Heritage landmark built in 1913 by noted architect Norman Foote Marsh will be festively decorated for the holidays. Plan to enjoy a fun day of shopping and cheerful holiday music in the warm and colorful ambience of the historic Clubhouse. A light lunch in the Dining Room will be available for shoppers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a raffle of holiday gifts will also be held throughout the day.
