Miles away from the fam this Thanksgiving? Or maybe you’re just trying to stay out of the kitchen next Thursday. Whatever your deal is—we feel you.  

For the sake of strategy, we’ve rounded up a tidy list of our favorite eateries running  Thanksgiving promotions this year. Scroll through the list to get your holiday itinerary in check.

Bourbon Steak | Glendale

Featuring a Piano Bar, the finest Japanese whisky (whisky, not whiskey because it was distilled in Japan), and Mina’s signature Lobster Pot Pie.

This year, their Thanksgiving selections include  Seared Nantucket Bay Scallops and Butternut Squash Soup for the first course, Dry-Aged Bone-in Ribeye and Roasted Heritage Turkey for the Second Course, and Pumpkin cheese cake for dessert.

Cafe Gratitude | Arts District

If you’re in the mood for an 100% organic holiday meal, make you way over to Cafe Gratitude’s new location in the Arts District. Similar to years past, guests will receive a free composed plate of Chef Dreux Ellis’ plant-based takes on favorite Thanksgiving dishes on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Some highlights of the menu include red lentil butternut squash holiday loaf; raw pecan, cranberry and apple stuffing; masted potatoes with mushroom gravy; and pumpkin pie. 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

 

The Hungry Cat | Hollywood

Located in the heart of Hollywood, Chef David Lentz’s Hungry Cat specializes in seasonal, market driven cocktails, craft brews, and an eclectic wine list.

For Thanksgiving, the Hungry Cat will start off with a Roasted Persimmon Salad with endives, pomegranate seeds, toasted pepitas, french feta, and cumin lime vinaigrette; Deep Fried Turkey for the second course, and Pumpkin Pie topped with brown sugar and whipped cream.

Price will be $70 per adult and $35 per child, serving from 1pm – 7pm. Take a peek at their Thanksgiving menu here.

 

Tavern | Brentwood

Tavern is the third restaurant from the chef and sommelier team of Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne. Chicly designed by Jeffrey Alan Marks, Tavern features a glass roofed atrium dining room, large blue walled bar, and a café space called the Larder that features casual dining, bakery, retail and prepared foods to go.

On Thanksgiving, Tavern will host an happy hour serving their traditional menu and select white wines and rose for $6, select draft beer for $4, and well mixed cocktails for $8. Take a look at their full menu here.

 

Scarpetta |  Beverly Hills

Feast on a Thanksgiving Day buffet offering everything from citrus-cured salmon to sausage stuffing to prime rib, porchetta, rigatoni with bolognese and béchamel and leg of lamb, to a selection of cured meats, Brussels sprouts and Autumn squash by our dude, Chef Freddy Vargas.

Make sure to indulge in their bottomless bloody marys and bellinis for $22. $108/pp, $38/pp children.

Terranea Resort | Rancho Palos Verdes

If you’re itching to get out of dodge, hop in the car and head over to the 102-acre seaside oasis at the Terranea Resort. Dine on a family-style feast with upscale twists on traditional dishes at Mar’sel; or head to Bashi, which offfers an Asian-inspired holiday menu.
Things get more casual at Nelson’s, where you can watch your team face off over a blue-plate special turkey sandwich and some pumpkin pie. Catalina Kitchen presents a family-style dinner of holiday favorites; or if you prefer a variety of options, make your way to the Terranea ballroom’s Thanksgiving buffet.
 
 

Brite Spot | Echo Park

The Echo Park staple will be open until 2PM on Thanksgiving and will offer great meals for under $20 a head. Traditional fixings include (but are certainly not limited to) :
– Fresh Roasted Turkey Breast (Mary’s hormone free, antibiotic free, farm raised)
– Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes
– Baked Yams
– House made turkey gravy
– House made traditional dressing
– House made fresh cranberry sauce

Pro tip: Order a cheesecake to go (48 hours notice) and finish the night off with some bowling.
