An informative health presentation will be held at the Arcadia Community Center, 365 Campus Drive, Arcadia on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Arcadia Senior Services along with Dr. Cathryn Hu, Ph.D. O.M.D. from Advanced Acupuncture is providing this lecture. The focus of the presentation is on Cancer Prevention. Cancer continues to be the major cause of death worldwide. People with strong family history of cancer should cautiously monitor their health issues related to the disease whether there are symptoms or not. Dr. Hu will discuss; strengthen immune system, pain management during chemo and radiation therapy, minimize side effects of chemo and radiation therapy; herbs and natural dietary plan for cancer patients, and Medical Qi (practice of meditation and gentle breathing exercises).
