Grand Theft Automobile Suspects Leads Arcadia PD on Wild Chase

On Saturday, Oct. 25, at about 11:47 p.m., Arcadia police officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of Sunset Boulevard and Duarte Road for vehicle code violations. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit entered the city of Temple City where the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an Edison telephone pole. The driver fled the vehicle on foot, a perimeter was established and the suspect was apprehended. The vehicle was reported stolen in the city of South El Monte at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Oct. 24.

The suspect was identified as Bryan Paul Sanchez, 20 years old, of El Monte.
