-Native American Mime and Storyteller Oct. 24

Families are invited to come out and see Mr. Abel Silva perform his unique one-man show known as Running Grunion. His character is a California Native American storyteller known for his funny verbal antics, miming routines, and interactive audience participation.

Mr. Silvas has studied pantomime for ten years with Marcel Marceau School of Mime to enhance his storytelling abilities. This presentation shows how California Indians have adapted over time and continue to be an important part of today’s society. This event is sponsored by the Arcadia Museum Foundation. This special family event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Museum Education Center.
