The Pasadena Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Team is investigating a fatal traffic accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle that occurred Oct. 2, 2015 at approximately 7:59 p.m. The driver of the vehicle, a 27-year-old male, was making a westbound turn from Lake Avenue onto Union Street when a motorcycle driving south on Lake Avenue struck the car. The motorcycle was being driven by a 24-year-old male from Monrovia with a 26-year-old female passenger from Los Angeles.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries and were transported by the Pasadena Fire Department to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. The victims’ identities are being withheld until notification of the families.
