There will be a remembrance service for Kris Mariconda on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at 2 p.m. Given Kris’ long time affiliation with the Monrovia Historic Museum (the west wing is named after her late husband Don), there will be a Celebration of Life open house for her at the Monrovia Historical Museum (742 E. Lemon Ave.). In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to either the Monrovia Historical Museum (www.monroviahistoricalmuseum.org) or Monrovia Reads (P.O. Box 1033, Monrovia, CA 91017).
A mass of remembrance will be held for Liz Leavens at Immaculate Conception Church on 726 S. Shamrock Ave in Monrovia on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. The date was set to allow family members to attend together.
