GelTech Solutions has launched a drought relief product that is putting the minds of Southern California homeowners at ease. The constant question of, “How can I keep my lawn green in this miserable drought?”, has been answered by the GelTech Solutions product Soil2O. The product has the ability to nourish lawns while dramatically reducing water usage, which is a dream come true for homeowners who are struggling to keep their lawns alive in a the state where water restrictions are tight and little to no rain comes through.  GelTech Solutions heard the SoCal struggle and has brought Soil2O to Pasadena to help replenish the city and surrounding areas.

GelTech Solutions has been a pioneer in developing eco-friendly products that are beneficial to agriculture, firefighting, landscaping, and residential since 2006. Soil2O is a nontoxic formula that saves up to 50 percent of water when quenching the agricultural thirst. The product, which is a cross-linked copolymer, has the ability to improve soil moisture, retain water, and decrease dust from areas with a dry dusty ground. As stated on the company site, the application “is suitable for all types of plants, grasses and soil structures, and is compatible with fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and nematicides.”

The GelTech Solutions product essentially brings dry dead lawns back to life by holding water at the root level to prevent it from going straight through the soil. Buyers simply spray the powdered product, which is pre-mixed with water, with the provided fan nozzle that comes in the starter kit.

Customer Richard Bolenbaugh shared his experience with this lawn changing application and said:

“It’s been about two weeks since I put the first application of Soil2O on our front lawn.  It had been looking sad with brown spots and weak growth in the areas that get full sun… I now see that the lawn is looking much better.  The thin areas are filling in and the brown spots are smaller.
