Altadena’s Historic ‘Wildwood Park’ Opens for Fine Art and Craft Show
For one day only, artists and makers will exhibit work at Art on Palm, Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015; from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Altadena’s secluded and storied Wildwood Park, at 1421 E. Palm Street, Altadena, 91001.
The juried show and sale features work in ceramics, collage, glass, leather, metals, mixed media, photography, print making, textiles, watercolors, and woodworking. First-time exhibitors include: Belinda Del Pesco, Rick Drobner, Barbara Lamb, Sarah Shin, Rebecca Edelman, Laura Silverman Splaver, Helen Heising, Cherryl Clark and Lin Mc Donough. They will exhibit alongside returning favorites of Art on Palm: Vie Blakey, Marcia Bloom, Charlotte Barnard, Tracey Chamberlain and Soozee Van Dyke Woods, Catherine and Ovie Cowles, Ellen Dinerman, Evan Chambers, Sophia D’Auria, Sandra Encinas, Irene Estrin, Zazu Faure, Beverly Jones, Debbie Lawrence, Ron Laurenz, Randy Meaney, Betsy Miller, Katherine Nakazono, David Ortega, JoAnn Page, Detra Prete, Roné Prinz, Corliss and John Roses, Anne Sears, Kathy Spear, Kathleen Swaydan, Daniel Taylor, Cathy Reichel-Clark, Naomi Tratar, Anna Vosburg, Louise Wannier, Lys Wilcox, Hitomi Yamamuro, and Stephen Woodruff.
Under the sheltering canopy of towering live oaks, and along the drives and paths of two homes, one renovated by and the other designed by Henry Greene, over forty artists will exhibit their work on Oct. 17, 2015.
Art on Palm has raised over $23,000 for non-profits and currently supports the Creative Arts Group of Sierra Madre, www.creativeartsgroup.com. Founded in 1960, CAG provides quality art experiences and instruction in Sierra Madre’s public schools. “Creative Arts is thrilled to partner with Art on Palm.
