Multi-tower promise land, Metropolis, sits just south of L.A. Live in the heart of Downtown joining the Financial District and the burgeoning South Park neighborhood. It was just over a year ago that the reported $1 billion dollar project broke ground on the 6-acre lot after decades of dormancy—all thanks to Chinese development company Greenland USA.

The ambitious real estate endeavor is comprised of 4 towers—3 residential buildings and Hotel Indigo— standing side-by-side, cascading in height and will add over 1,500 luxury studio, one and two bedroom condos ranging from the mid $600,000’s to up to $2 million.

Stretching an entire block along Francisco Street between 8th and 9th, the complex will also include more than 70,000 square feet of retail space, adding to the walkability of the previously quiet area.

Visible from the 110 freeway, the Metropolis will transform the Downtown LA skyline with its towers standing 18, 38,40, and 56 stories. Now in its second phase of construction, the megaproject promises unparalleled luxury living through its notable amenities.

The structure’s gorgeous design, heralded by world-renowned architecture firm Gensler, will include a resort style pool and spa with private cabanas, roomy dog park, a state-of-the-art fitness facility with private yoga studio, steam rooms, and a meditation garden. Tower One and Tower Two will both feature an exclusive resident’s club with lounge space, a business center, catering kitchen, private theater and game room.

And while the fist tower’s move in date, marked by the completion of phase one construction, isn’t slated until the end of 2016, Metropolis has already sold over 65% of the units in Tower One. So if you’re in the market for resident utopia, make sure to check out their Downtown Sunset Mixer on September 17th.
