On Friday, Aug. 22, at about 5:30 p.m., Pasadena Police officers responded to the area of Washington Blvd. and Sinaloa Ave. regarding calls of shots fired. Officers arrived and found a deceased Black Male in a parking lot to the rear of the business in the 1700 block of East Washington Blvd. The Male, approximately 40 years of age, was the victim of gunfire.
The scene was immediately contained. Pasadena Paramedics responded as well as Pasadena Homicide Detectives. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Investigator responded and retrieved the decedent. The name of the decedent is not yet being released pending the notification of family.
