Assembly member Roger Hernández will be hosting a health fair to learn more about the Affordable Care Act and how the state, through Covered California, is expanding access to health care. Certified Enrollment Agents will be available to discuss different options available. Free health screenings (Glucose, Blood Pressure, BMI, nutrition information, stroke & thyroid, fitness demonstrations, stroke assessments, orthopedic screenings and much more) will be provided, in addition to resources, and activities to help you stay healthy and active. The event will be held at North Memorial Recreation Center 340 N. Orange Pl. Azusa, CA 91702 on Sep. 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be host to various non-profits and community based organizations. For more information you can contact (626) 960-4457.
