Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation surrounding the circumstances of the death of 31-year-old LaJoya McCoy in the 800 block of West Olive Avenue, Monrovia.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Homicide detectives arrested 45-year-old Jose Roberto Turner on Aug. 28, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. He is the ex-boyfriend of LaJoya McCoy and father of her two children.
Turner was arrested in Pasadena.
He was booked at Temple Sheriff’s Station for the murder of LaJoya McCoy, and is being held with no bail.
