Swedish electronic producer Jonas Rathsman was kind enough to carve a little time out of his busy schedule to answer a few quick-fire questions and give us a peak at some of his favorite tracks of the moment. Rathsman recently threw it down at Sound Nightclub alongside Ben Pearce before he darted off to the desert for his Sunday set at Splash House, and of course, before he hits up Bali.
1. So, what’s up?
Looking forward to a weekend in California, playing shows and meeting good friends. Then I’m off to Bali with my family for vacation. That’s whats up!
2. Favorite artist right now?
Tame Impala, so excited to see them in San Francisco at Outside Lands festival on Saturday!
3. Rock, paper, or scissors?
A little secret, scissors always win! Thank me later!

I would never ever commission anyone to produce my record. Nuff said!
8. Do anything last night?
I got a little drunk with friends then I had waffles & fried chicken and passed out!

Like everybody else in LA, 2 am.
