Taste Test: Maradentro, Studio City’s Mexican Seafood Spot

Back in April, Maradentro opened shop in bustling Studio City by the hands of Jesse Gomez of Mercado fame (insert salivating emoji, cause their brunch’s huevos rancheros!). Chef Jose Acevedo heads up the kitchen at Maradentro and offers up tastiness like hamachi three ways, surf-n-turf tacos, tacos le langosta, chile relleno de 7 mares, and the dish we tried and loved, Chef Jose’s Carnitas.

The space is easy on the eyes, too. The interior is fresh, clean, and coastal, with high-top bar inspired seating as well as cozy traditional table format. Probably cause they wanted our focus to be the food and drink. Speaking of cocktails, if you’re feeling saucy, try the Michelada topped with shrimp.

Let this be your next flavorful seafood spot.
