Ah…BeautyCon LA. Each year, the makeup industry tradeshow comes to town and directs us to the latest trends in hair, makeup, skin, and artistry. The massive event brings together fans, talent, and creators for a all-day educational bash where attendees can sample everything from moisturizers to nail polish. This year, we had the chance to peruse the show and discovered some new brands as well as the latest products from iconic companies. These are a few of our favorite things…
By popular demand, Tarte Cosmetics has re-introduced an all-matte eyeshadow palette consisting of 12 never-before-seen shades. The palette, which goes by the name Tartelette, is comprised of their signature mix of Amazonian clay, vitamin E, and mineral pigment—virtually crease-free, even after 4 hours.
Billion Dollar Brows
You know what they say—brows make the face. One of our favorite BeautyCon highlights was Billion Dollar Brows. This well-packed kit features their patented Brow Buddy Tool that shows you where to start, arch, and end you brows with precision and ease. The kit also contains a self-sharpening pencil that works with ALL skin tones and hair colors/textures. Oh, and of course, a pair of excellent tweezers.
Birchbox has made certainly main a name for itself over the past few years, and the brand seemed to be a favorite at BeautyCon with a busy DIY counter at the show.
