After 14 years of leadership, Pasadena Water and Power General Manager Phyllis Currie retired on June 30, 2015. The city will be conducting a nationwide search for a permanent General Manager. During this transition, the City Manager has appointed Eric Klinkner as Interim General Manager. Klinkner is currently the Deputy General Manager, a role he has held for more than a decade. His utility experience covers a wide range that includes power generation, transmission, trading and scheduling, water and power conservation, renewable resource procurement, and environmental and strategic policy development.
