Most Aren’t!

Business owners can avoid penalties and fines for non-compliance at free conference on July 15th in Rancho Cucamonga.
“Most companies are not legally compliant because business owners are unaware of changes in laws. This could mean penalties and fines being imposed on the business in the future,” stated Glenn Salter, VP Compliance Division, Risk Analyst Director at Delaney Insurance Agency, Inc.
Based in Rancho Cucamonga, Delaney Insurance Agency, Inc. provides all forms of commercial insurance including, group health, risk management programs and compliance programs. Each program is tailored to the specific needs of each business. Founded in 1986 Delaney Insurance is licensed in California, Nevada and Arizona.
“Changes in the Affordable Care Act affect all companies of all sizes and compliance with the laws could mean problems in the future.”
“To assist business owners we are hosting the 2015 Spring Compliance Conference. This conference is free but employers can find out valuable information on what they must do now to avoid penalties and fines in the future.”
The Conference will feature keynote speaker Joanna Kim-Brunetti. Johanna is General Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs for First Capitol Consulting, Inc. She oversees the firm’s Affordable Care Act practice, with particular focus on employer compliance issues.
Prior to joining First Capitol, Joanna was a partner with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, a leading international law firm.
Joanna has 18 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of regulatory, employment, tax, intellectual property, and other business issues.
She is also Judge Pro Tem of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
“We strongly urge business owners to attend along with their Human Resources staff. The conference will cover current issues including compliance laws, fines and penalties, what employers must do, what employers should already be doing and how to do it,” concludes Salter.
