Remember when we noted Rob Garza as an indigenous being? Here, if you missed out. The other human-half of Thievery Corporation just unveiled a video for his EP, Blue Agave Fields—inspired by Garza’s travels through Oaxaca—as he learned the tradition and process of making Mezcal. Fitting, considering he has partners down there and is very much launching a Mezcal brand. If you’ve never caught any of his DJ sets, meet us at Bergamot Station for the U.R. ART Festival launch on Sunday, May 17th and watch him go. He’s also a founding member of that summer long music session, too.
