We are definitely defenders of the concept that fashion is art. And it seems, so is the new specialized clothing boutique Alethea Spectacle. Located on Melrose and Fairfax, Alethea Spectacle leads the clothing cause by combining a retail environment every Monday to Wednesday with a gallery, showroom type setting every Thursday to Sunday.
Additionally, the boutique holds monthly events allowing clients to meet the designers and view their new collections. Currently, they’re showing pieces by such Los Angeles designers Bri Seeley, Michelle Hebert, Clairvoyant, and Cara Marie B. Corsets, to name just a few. Come for the private Mother’s day shopping weekend on May 9th to 10th or for the Trunk show at the Gas Company Lofts on May 23rd.
The coolest part about the boutique? Each designer featured creates an exclusive six-piece collection that once sold, will never be available again. Naturally, our curiosity is peaked by any part-boutique, part-gallery, part-showroom where everything is literally one of a kind.
