City Council member and Arcadia Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Sho Tay and dozens of Chamber executives, Ambassadors, staff, and members enjoyed an open house and tour of the impressive Congress Orthopaedics and partner Elite Motion Physical Therapy April 14 in the new Hale Medical Center at 289 W. Huntington Drive in Arcadia.

Many officials and employees of both companies were on hand, including Linda Knowles of Congress and Barry Shafer of Elite, who will be a guest speaker at the Chamber’s May 21 Networking Breakfast. Also representing Congress was Doctor Steven D. Lin, whom Chamber CEO Scott Hettrick noted was a former member of the popular “L.A. Boyz” Taiwanese pop/rap group, which he formed with his cousins in Irvine in 1991 and released 13 albums. Scott and Linda handed out several nice raffle prizes from Congress as well as Arcadia Chamber members who donated prizes, including Harris Office Products, Massage Envy, and others.

Attendees, which also included Chamber President-elect Vicki Knight of Century Rooter & Plumbing, board member and Ambassador John Sun of Budget Blinds, and Ambassador chairman Rich Jones of the San Marino Tribune, were treated to a buffet of delicious food and beverages, including pot stickers and pulled pork sliders provided by Chamber member Matt Denny’s Ale House and Restaurant.
