

The Arcadia Apaches faced the Los Osos Grizzles Wednesday afternoon at Arcadia’s home field. Arcadia’s starting pitcher, Noah Falcon, had 7 strikeouts in 3 complete innings. Noah started the 4th inning, until he was pulled after a 3 run homer by the Grizzly’s Kyle Robeniol, a senior First Baseman. The Apaches brought in (#18) Brett Porter, who was able to pitch the Apaches out of the 4th inning.
Los Osos starting pitcher, Niko Navarro, was able to go the distance, pitching all seven innings and finishing with a total ERA of 3.00 containing 6 hits and 7 strikeouts.
The Apache’s would close with (#24) Fernando Rosales, who pitched the last two innings and held the Grizzlies to four runs for the remainder of the game.
The Los Osos Grizzlies were able to hold on to their one run lead for the remainder of the game, handing the Arcadia Apaches their first loss of the season.
