Readers wants to know how Monrovia Lost a $927,000 Grant

I just read in Letters to the Editor [last week’s edition] about Monrovia losing a $927,000 grant from Metro for the Gold Line Depot. We are talking here about almost 1 million dollars!
I do believe that this issue requires more investigation and that Monrovia Weekly should be inquiring further to keep us informed.
We must know who is responsible for this loss. We have an upcoming election and the responsible parties’ names must be made public.

Thanks,
Náyade M. de Cumbe
